2024 was an interesting year; it had ups and downs, highs and lows, and many opportunities and lessons. But no matter what, it is high time to share our 2024 travel recap. Without further ado, The Magic of Traveling in 2024.

- January: After greeting the new year watching fireworks in Lisbon, we shifted gears and went to a winter wonderland – Georgia. We revisited our beloved Tbilisi, attending the Traverse event and taking day trips to different parts of the country, such as Kazbegi, the Kvareli wine region, and even northern Armenia. Here are our Reels from January:
- February: The pursuit of snow and winter sports took us to Gudauri. This place is a real gem and gave us plenty of great snow, adrenaline, and good food. We expect that it will soon be discovered by many people so hurry up and give it a visit before the crowds arrive! Here are some videos, too:
- March: To celebrate extremely work-busy first quarter of the year and Bistra’s birthday, we headed to Scotland. Edinburgh, the nearby highlands, and the impromptu walk on the FIFE Coastal way were very recharging and inspiring! Here are our Reels:
- April: This month we closed some projects and completely broke up with the corporate world, visited family in Germany, did some home reconstruction, and got ready for our upcoming journey to Central Asia.
- May: Adventure time! We headed east to start our journey through five of the countries in Central Asia. We visited Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan for five weeks and our journey was nothing short of adventures and surprises, ups and downs, everything and everyone we met on the road in this magical region of the world.
- June: Finishing our epic Pamir Highway journey and closing the circle in Bishkek, we returned to Europe to work a bit and prepare to go to our second home Halkidiki.
- July: While finally resting from work and travel, and enjoying summer in Greece, we took a short trip to Bucharest, where, surprisingly, it was the hottest week (46 degrees Celsius), but we survived! And we thought we were already having a very hot summer in Greece…
- August: Bansko Jazz Fest brought us to Bansko as the tradition dictates. And we continued frequenting our favorite beaches! While relaxing, we officially started Sustainable for the Future Foundation.
- September: This month marked our second visit to the Kerala Travel Mart and our third trip to magical Kerala. This time, we visited the hidden gem of Northern Kerala. On our way back, we traveled to Kuwait, which we were honored to visit as our 100th country! Here are some video moments:
- October: We returned to Greece to say goodbye to summer, and then traveled to Norway, where we were lucky enough to witness the strongest Northern Lights we had ever seen and enjoy the colorful autumn colors of the fjords.
- November: A project on sustainable tourism took us (in the most sustainable way) to southern Italy, where we explored Sapri and the surrounding area and were wowed.
- December: Opened the winter season in Livigno, then continued to Bansko, meeting family and spending the holidays in Bulgaria for the first time in many years!

In 2024, we celebrated reaching our 100th country, worked with a hand-picked set of destinations and businesses, and explored six new countries, as well as several old favorite destinations.
We leave a lot of space open for new adventures and opportunities in 2025!
