We have a confession to make – we are movieholics! We find films and series very nice things to do when you are at home or when you travel, for some relaxing time. So we want to present to you 5 of our favorite travel movies and we’ll go back to watching another film probably! 🙂 Here it is, the list, in random order, of course!
The way
You can’t imagine how many people got inspired to walk Camino de Santiago from this film! For us it was the other way around – people on the Camino were so passionate about it, so we had to watch it when we returned!
Wild
Traveling shows you who you really are and what your true values should be. Especially when the conditions are heavier than you think. This movie will make you think a lot!
Eurotrip
For those who enjoy comedies more, we suggest this one. It shows the story of a few teens, who travel for fun, but travel has other positive effects on them, too. Check what they learned from their trip through Europe.
Eat, pray and love
Some say books are better than the movies, but we actually got inspired to visit Bali from the movie! Just watch it and then we’ll help you take most of your time in Bali!
Game of Thrones
Surprised to see this one here? Or maybe not, since it is in almost every other list for the last 6 years? Anyway, we know it is not a movie, but TV series. We also know that travel is not one of the important subjects in the movie. However, we can’t dismiss the fact that after 6 seasons Daenerys Targaryen (a.k.a the Mother of Dragons) finally is on her way to the Seven Kingdoms! And if traveling with so many fancy ships is not traveling with style, we do not know what is.
