The 5-star property is located amidst green forest so the moment we entered the curvy road and stopped at the entrance, we felt relaxed. Being on a hill, the views from the hotel are just magical and all the green definitely cures the tired eye.
Accommodations can be in estate villas or estate bungalows. We stayed in a villa and checked out a few different types of rooms. All were spacious with large beds and sofa areas, large bathrooms and bathtubs, and balconies overlooking the surrounding forest. Definitely a place to relax, get re-energized, or maybe even celebrate a special occasion.
The hotel has a classy restaurant that features tasty Indian dishes, as well as some international dishes. It was very difficult for us not to overeat, as we wanted to try everything!
The infinity pool was the perfect way to enjoy the surroundings and have a swim. Nace even “decided” to go for a swim with his sneakers, and that’s how he realized there was a shallower area with sunbeds. Fortunately, the staff was kind enough to dry the sneaker just in time for dinner. The hotel also has a gym and a spa and wellness center for those who want to pamper themselves further.
Things to do in the area
The hotel itself has an adventure area and a kids’ area. If you want to venture outside, a few kilometers away are Karlad Lake, Banasura Sagar Dam, Meenmutty Falls, and other places where you can immerse yourselves in nature and try kayaking, pedaling, sailing, zip-lining, trekking, and other adventures.
