Why did Warsaw turn out to be such a nice place?
After the heat in Kyiv and the tribulations in Georgia, Warsaw was like a prize for the survivors. We were generously rewarded with a cool summer and European vibes at every corner. It was like being on vacation. Beautiful views, culinary delicacies, and music everywhere โ this is Warsaw.

People go to relax and become new people in places like India, Tibet, Bora Bora. The cozy and fresh atmosphere in Warsaw turned out to be our Bora Bora without the emerald beaches. Here are some things to do in Poland’s capital.
Go to a concert
In the park, on the street, in a concert hall – you have plenty of options to enjoy beautiful music in Warsaw.

Contemplate the green
Every capital needs green spaces to offer its citizens and visitors fresh air and relax. Warsaw does this job very well – we enjoyed plenty of green areas, parks, flowers while walking around the city. So summer can be the best time to visit Warsaw if you don’t mind the heat. We were lucky to be cool summer weather when we visited, but guides to Warsaw advice that visiting in spring and fall is more magical.

An ice-cream walk through the old town
If you visit Warsaw in summer, like we did, you should definitely try the ice-cream and walk around the old town. It could be windy and your ice-cream may turn out to go in places you don’t want it to go, but it’s fun after all. You’ll meet many street artists and old buildings to admire.

Eat something tasty
Don’t forget to try different Polish and international food options while in Warsaw. As we visited in summer, we only ate in the open-air and this way we also enjoyed people-watching.

Visit a (free) museum
We don’t remember how we found the Wilanรณw Palace Museum. But it was just amazing – the royal beauty inside, and the green jumpie-inspiring gardens outside.

Sail in a pond
Yes, just go to the park, and follow the crowd. Sailing is the ultimate relaxing experience. And it’s so nice you can do in the city. It’s so romantic. And peaceful!

Warsaw is our new favorite European capital – it welcomes you with fresh air and green parks. It smiles with its amazing cuisine and variety of places to eat and have a drink. It could be refreshing with its architecture, museums and cultural things to do. Our favorite thing is how full of art events it is! You have a wide choice of performances, music, applied arts. We need to return for at least a week to enjoy the art scene in Warsaw!
